Effortlessly sexy look for day to evening

Hi, I'm going out on Saturday. Starting with meeting the girls in the afternoon for cocktails, coffee and perhaps a gallery and then meeting up with men later who will have been watching rugby all day for food, drinks and to watch the last rugby match of the day. I usually aim for an effortlessly sexy look (I say aim for that!) and I'm wondering if there's a top that would fit the bill...something sexy but comfortable.
