How many pairs of shoes do you have and what are they?

Seem to amass a load of random shoes but then only wear the same three or four.
Next winter I will definitely be needing new boots but wondering what people consider essential for spring/summer?

For summer I would always have:

Flat Leather sandals that can be dressed up or down.

A pair of wedges

Rubber flip flops (eg Havainas)

Birkenstocks.

I love having my toes out though! Can't stand all this winter boot weather!

I have way too many shoes

I tend to stick to a pair of puma trainer, some Vivienne Westwood flats, some black platform cleated boots and then some Jeffrey Campbell strappy sandals for evenings out.

My Summer shoes are packed away at the moment but from memory, canvas converse type. canvas skater slip-ons, block-heel tan sandals. navy heeled sandals, flat leather sandals, navy flat sling-backs, beige ballet flats, navy ballet flats and mid heel court shoes that I wear all year. I don't wear boots though!

One pair of black high heeled court shoes - Duo, the only make I can wear with sky high heels
Red, Blue, Black, Brown, Aubergine every day shoes block heels, 2 loafer style two lace ups and some mary janes.
Gold flats, black flats - seldom worn.
Beige heeled sandals, brown sandals, black birkies, Keen sandals, white Gabor flip flops.
Boots - one pair of "fuck me" suede peep toe. One black zip up front, tall black suede, lace up brown suede, Ecco beige leather flats. Black biker style boots (Dune)
leopard print kitten heels. A pair of "go walk" for foreign sight seeing only.
21? Plus the usual trainers, willies, walking boots and riding boots.

Currently switching between 4 different pairs of the boots during the week at the moment.
I do regularly get rid of one's I don't wear and these are what's left.
Am going to get one of the pairs re- heeled if I can as I love them so much but the heels have worn right down.

I only have a pair of calf length leather boots for bad weather
a pair of mary jane but dr martin style thick sole
new sandals in summer
cheap flip flops to wear around the house

if I were filthy rich I would probably spend more on my footwear but not have a collection of them like a stamp collection

Lots of pairs of stiletto heels ranging from lowish work pairs, to high going out ones. I couldn't even begin to count! All in their boxes and they have a wardrobe just for them !

I do love footwear! DMs and loafers in particular but recently got back into the desert boots (another pair will be my next acquisition in a different colour). I have only worn the trainers once or twice.

I would have more if I had the space.

I am not a big shoe person and I have :

5 pairs of long boots
4 pairs of ankle boots
3 pairs of trainers
4 pairs of work heels/wedges
5 pairs of evening heels/wedges
5 pairs of ballet flats
3 pairs of brogues/loafers
3 pairs of sandals
3 pairs of slippers

I also have 5 more pairs of shoes that are in the 'to be binned because they are done' pile that I've not got round to actually throwing them out yet.

Looking at the list above I do have a lot of shoes but many of them are years old. One particular pair of boots I got for my 17th birthday (I'm now 32). I don't wear them often now because I love them but they are almost done and each wear brings them a bit closer to the end.
