I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and wondered if they might be comfy but I think the ties would cut into your leg.

A boot with a removable sock, ie a sandal? I don't understand why wearing socks with sandals makes them a boot? Try telling that to the pissing down rain

Remarkably, they still have them in every size so if you really want em you best be quick. Those babies will be snapped up before you know it.
