My Mac brush is old, green at the base (has been since day 2) and feels ready for the bin! Recommendations for a replacement please!

Try Real Techniques Stippling brush (for BB/CC cream or liquid foundation) or RT's Expert Face brush for powder foundation. They are the best ones I have ever used. Available widely - Superdrug, Amazon etc.

Try a Beauty Blender. I've used a Mac foundation brush for years but after a few weeks with a beauty blender I'd never go back. My foundation looks airbrushed and takes so much less time to do. Real Techniques do a dupe for £6 that's supposed to be good if you want to try it first.

Another vote for a beauty blender here. It's just amazing, I'd never go back to using a brush, it gives a really flawless finish.

Real techniques! Have used the expert face brush for cream and mineral
powder foundations. Brilliant.

'Fifthing' Real Technique. I prefer the expert face brush, but the stippling brush is also great for cream blushers.

I love love love my Real Techniques beauty blender sponge thing. I'm a total convert. SO easy and I prefer it to my 'real' beauty blender which was £20! The RT one was a fiver from Boots.

I also like the stippling brushes too for when I'm doing a full face. I have a Real techniques one which is brilliant (£7 on amazon) and a Zoeva one which is AMAZING.

Wow! Thanks for so many recommendations. Have had a quick google ... don't fancy the beauty blender as I didn't like sponges but the Real Techniques brushes look great.
