Ok stick with me if you can!

Iv got a meal in a weeks time. I never normally dress up (or wear a skirt,) but I want to make an effort, Iv got quite unique or alternate taste but for lots of reasons including money and weight etc Iv tried to pull together an outfit that is still me but is also still wearable if that makes sense.

The one big problem I have I due to hip problems now I may or may not need a stick to walk which makes my normal choice of my trusty demonia heels (Google if you've not heard of them) unworkable due to being too high for the stick Sad

So I'm going to post pics of all Iv picked out can you please have a look and tell me what you think? pic of top is white but mine is black

Iv tried on top and skirt together and they (according to my sister) go ok but will the shoes?

What do think of the whole?

Thanks in advance

These are the back up flats if I am in too much pain to wear the other but I'm hoping I don't need them

I like the style, but I had a few thoughts:

Does the off-white blouse clash with the stark white in the skirt?

Is the lace too "busy", given the patterned skirt?

I see what you are going for, though, and I like the look overall very much. Skulls are a very iconic and interesting motif and I like shoes that look tough, like the first pair. Although I might choose some Doc Marten boots.

Can you post a picture of yourself in the outfit? Incognito?
I have that exact top but yours is black so it should look fine with the skirt.
I love the skirt btw.

I like the clothes but think there are nicer shoes to be had...

Love this style - it's a great middle ground; a bit dressed up but with an alternative twist which I love. The outfit is great and I really like the back up shoes too.

I Googled Demonia heels and I don't like them at all personally (sorry). I prefer my alternative twist to be on the Victorian gothic side and those shoes look a bit more punk maybe (?) which I don't like so much, (though I do love DM boots). Maybe it's just that they are pretty high which puts me off a bit.

Blush so sorry! Just realised you weren't planning on wearing the Demonia heels anyway!

Far prefer the shoe choices you've posted on here. Both options are great.

Flowers for your hip problems too.

Oh, the top is in black, very nice. What will you wear under the top?

Thanks for all the replies so far! It's really nice to have some help, life is A little small these days so Iv not really got friends to do the try on and ask what they think thing anymore.

So under the top I'm thinking either just a black vest or crop top depending on how see through it is.

How would I post. A pic incognito? Or do you mean cut the head off?

As for shoes I thought about other options but I wanted somthing with a low heel (can't really go too high because of the stick,) but comfy and relatively sturdy so I don't fall over.

Oh and lady. I like the same but normally the heels on Victorian type shoes are too wobbly so I can't wear them anymore. Part of the reason I like demonia Is they are high but because the sole and the heel are almost the same its like walking on flats.

Thanks for the suggestion faux would open shoes go with tights though? That's why I didn't go for any.

Like walking in flats you say? Beginning to change my mind about these shoes..! Sounds amazing. I can't walk in heels purely due to clumsiness.

It it an option to get a longer stick

That came out a bit sarcastic. It wasn't intentional. I just thought that if the length of the stick was the problem, a second stick would give you more options.

Almost lady but you have to get the right style,
Like these see how the sole is high too.

Burnished. No I knew what you meant and I think it's a good idea. Not enough time or money for this event though.

Also is it a bit odd to have great heels but also a stick, doesn't it become a bit whys she bothering?

I don't want to look silly Blush

I like the ones in that photo you just posted OP. Some of the ones I got on Google images weren't as nice as that at all.

I really don't think you'd look silly with a stick and high heels. If they're comfortable and you like wearing them, I'd go ahead and wear them. When people wear really uncomfortable shoes which they clearly aren't enjoying wearing - that's a bit silly IMHO (though I've done it myself plenty of times before I admitted defeat with massive pointy heels, so I'm not in a position to judge)! That doesn't sound like it's the case for you.
