How often do you wash your hair??

I have always washed my hair every morning as it's very fine and has a tendency to get greasy quickly. I'm currently trying to 'train' it and only wash it every other day but have also taken up a new regime where I'm exercising 2-3 evenings a week which is making it feel a bit grubby/sweaty so I'm ending up washing it twice a day instead!!
I can't win!!!

4 or 5 times a week. I can't not wash it when it's got sweaty from exercise either. I like the idea of washing it less frequently as well, but it feels itchy and mingling if I leave it Grin

I wash my hair every day. It is very curly and down to my shoulders. When I wake up in the morning it is a total mess and it is quicker to wash it than it is to attempt to do something with it!

Also use dry shampoo on non-washing days

Every other day.

The less often I wash it, the better it looks. It's a greaseball after two days though and ready for a wash, but if I wash it every day it looks even worse.

Best shampoo for me is baby shampoo, or silicone free.

I have fine blonde hair with a bit of a curl in it.

Every other day. I also wash it after I do proper sweaty excercise (which is only once a week for me atm Blush) regardless of how recently it has been washed previously.

Every other day for me too but I hate it on the non wash day! Feels itchy and dirty but just don't have the time to wash daily! Have just started to try a dry shamp on the in between day hoping it will help!

Every 7 -10 days - runs away and hides.
It's totally unmanageable when first washed and starts to look smoother around day 4 and then just gets better and better. Usually end up washing it because my scalp gets itchy or it starts to whiff! Although I do spray it with perfume every day. Absolutely loathe washing my hair - it takes about half an hour and then around 5 hours to dry. Blowdrying it just makes it a total frizzball.

2 or 3 times a week because I'm lazy. Or when it needs washing.

I can go 6 days but usually wash it after 5. My hair is blonde, long and there's a lot of it. It never gets greasy looking just starts to look a bit too bed head.

I used to do it every other day but have moved to once every 3-4 days and it is in much better condition. I colour it at home and find that the colour lasts longer with less washing. However I have to do it at least every other day in the summer as it does feel horrible if it gets sweaty.

Mine is curly, if I'm wearing it up then every other day. If I'm wearing it down I wash it every other day and then wet and condition it the other day. It needs to be wet to control it or it's just a massive ball of uncontrollable frizz.

Every single day, and if I go out in the evening I wash it again.

I've got a sleek short bob which does show the grease.

Twice a week - had to wash it every day when it was short as I'd wake up looking like Worzel Gummage Grin

It doesn't really get greasy...or not for a good few days anyway

I was always a everyday washer, at times twice a day as it felt gross not too, but over the past few years I had a reality check whilst I was quite ill and thought it was getting stupid so I just went to every other then every 3, now about every 4-5 days. Thank good for batiste!!! I generally wear it up after day 2.
My hair is in such better quality now, my colour lasts longer and looks better. I could kick myself for wasting so much time washing and styling my hair!

I also meant to say, your hair only gets so greasy as you are washing it everyday, after a month or so you scalp adjusts and it just doesn't get as greasy!

Every other day. Brunette and shoulder length.

If I delayed washing it would look v v greasy by day 4 and itch.

When mine is its natural colour I have to wash it every day otherwise it goes greasy and flat. When its highlighted though, I can get away with leaving it for 3 days. The process dries it out I suppose.
I hate drying my hair I'm jealous of you ladies who can get away with twice a week.

Every three days as long as I use dry shampoo. Before dry shampoo was a thing, it was every day as I've always had greasy hair and I absolutely loathed it. Much happier now!

The happiest "hair time" in my life though was when I was pregnant and my hair dried out. For those few wonderful months I finally knew what it was like to have never-greasy hair. I had to actually remind myself to wash it a couple of times a week. It was bliss!

2-3 times a week but it's long and I tie it up it's also a nightmare to detangle after washing which puts me off! I used to wash every other day though - keep up with the training it does get less greasy!

Er...about once a month in winter. I used to get a dreadfully itchy scalp and so started washing it less...and less...and just making sure to comb and brush every day, and keep said comb and brush really scrupulously clean.

But then I have never had greasy hair, ever. It's been very dry since puberty!

I wash it more in summer, especially if my head's been sweating, because that's not a nice feeling! Also it's nice to have clean damp hair on hot days.

(Cue the 'ewww's) Smile

Every day. I look like I've dunked my head in a chip pan within 24 hours. When I've gone through periods of a few months of illness and been unable to wash my hair often, it never 'trained' into needing washed less often. It just looked a disgusting greasy mess! I have bleached blonde hair but it doesn't seem to make a difference whether my hair is coloured or not or whether it's longer or shorter. I have quite greasy skin too.

2-3 times a week.

Any more and it feels dry.

I wear it up on days when it is starting to feel a bit lank.
