I've seen some before but can't remember which shop , I think they are very flattering on a curvy frame . Can anyone help or make a suggestion please ?

Ohh I saw something similar on something about a company called Finery... It could have been a skirt and long top though.

Thank you for your replies , the Dorothy Perkins one is the nearest . The ones I'm thinking of are fitted to the waist in black then the bottom is a different colour , sometimes floral or patterned . I can't for the life of me think which shop I saw it in .

Hobbs have been doing a version of this for a couple of seasons. This one isn't black but previous versions have been.

That's the sort of thing but the skirt is shorter . Im 5 ft so this would swamp me .

I was going to say Cos until you mentioned a different colour bottom:

That is nice but the top needs to be very fitted . I'm hourglass and have a small rib cage but curvy hips . My figure would get lost in that sadly .

They do a similar one with a V neck which I bought recently and really like. I went a size up because I am bigger around the middle but I'm very pleased with it. I reckon if you didn't size up it would be more fitted though perhaps not as much as you're after.

On an unrelated note, I love Cos, but how on earth do they manage to make their clothes and models look so awful on their website? I swear I look at their website and think I wouldn't buy a single thing, but when you look at the stuff in the shops it's a million times nicer and beautifully cut.

Dorothy perkins did absolutely loads of these skater dresses, not sure if they still do them but it might be worth an ebay trawl if you know your size I've got about half a dozen and have the same figure as you. I love them!

Thanks again for the suggestions , nothing is quite what I'm looking for although the yumi one is quite nice . It's just for casual wear with opaques , black ankle boots etc so I don't want anything too smart .

They are the sort of thing but I'm short and size 8-10 so need a different shop.

How about these:

www.axparis.com/products/2-In-1-Striped-Mini-Dress.html
www.axparis.com/products/Contrast-Yellow-Floral-Dress.html
www.axparis.com/products/Pleat-Front-Two-In-One-Midi-Dress.html

(If you search two in one, there's quite a few more.)

Was it a physical shop you saw them in? Or online?
