which hair style?

I'm 40 this year. I've just had dc3 (so have been either pregnant, bf'ing or generally knackered for 6yrs). I've got straight mousy hair that's been in a shoulder length bob (no fringe) of some description for, well, forever. I've got a round face and tend to ha weight if I'm not v careful (usually a comfy 12-14).

I fancy a change, but had a disastrous sour of the moment short haircut after DC1 so have learnt my lesson about JFDI hair style decisions. I need something low maintenance - but want something that suits me, something that looks a bit sexy and enhances, rather than just is.

I'm prepared to accept that boring bob is what I'm stuck with.
