Red skirt, gold shoes

I have this skirt in red. I have gold shoes.

What color top should I wear?
Can I wear a black one or will it have to be black shoes?
And bag?

I am clueless.

HELP!

I think I need a nude or Beige top. something quite tight with a three quarter length sleeve.
