Help me style this dress for Christmas ball

So, as a short arse I don't usualy wear long dresses, but I have decided to go with this one here.

Will be wearing industrial strength spanx for my tummy region (which I am very self conscious about) and I'm wearing silver sparkly heels, but unsure about jewellery - should I go for necklace or large dangly earrings?

What sort of bag would look good? I was thinking small clutch. Any advice appreciated.

Long earrings as it's high necked. Clutch. How are you gonna keep warm? Fluffy faux fur short coat?

Lovely dress. Id also go with long earrings and a nice clutch. Maybe a delicate bracelet too, if you feel like it. Idea of a faux fur sounds fab too.
