I know they're not to everyone's taste but I think they may look quite fun with dark straight/skinny jeans and a snazzy top?

I think they're lovely, very pretty colours

I love them, but I suspect you and I might be in the minority ;-)

My fave pair are black suede with a pink edging where shoe meets foot and black and white striped heels and a cute little baby cham bambi deer on the heel.

They sound lurid but are actually more tamed down than the description I've just given them. Found those little beauties in tkmaxx.

Where are those from?

Thanks Lotta.

I know Ruby Shoo shoes aren't to everyone's taste. I'd been hunting for a pair of these in a size 6 for ages, and finally found a pair.

DP has said he will get them for me for Christmas..whoop! Smile

Could wear with a nice green dress too. Lots of green in the shop. They would look great with my fab new pink joe brown summer dress.

They are Ruby Shoo, Dowser.

I bought another pair to work to my work Xmas do the other day as well as the theme is 'black and white' and I had no decent shoes to wear.

Saw the one's above on Pinterest and just fell in love. Some of the designs are a bit too bonkers for even me, but I do like these as I like to wear jeans a lot and think they'll go quite well.

They are lush!

I find them very very ugly. No redeeming features at all.

Remind me of the kind of shoes worn by pantomime dames.

I was going to buy the spotty ones for my wedding. I love ruby shoo and irregular choice shoes. I can have a perfectly normal looking outfit until you get to my feet. Grin

Arrrrgh! I've just had my husband pay £150 for three pairs of hotter shoes ( groan, I know) but I need a broader size when my feet swell and I've just fallen in love with some of those on ruby shoo.

I don't wear my little beauties very much for that reason.

I got a black pair, maroon suede and purple suede. Maybe I could customise them with something. All with a bar across and heels.

They are very nice but I do love quirky.

Dreams - I've seen several brides in very elegant, simple looking wedding dresses and then some eccentric footwear. I think it looks great! Grin

ooh those are nice.

I have a pair of shoes that look very like that. Same colour and everything. I do like Mary Jane style.

I dislike them (especially the wooden heel)

Me too.
I'm wondering if I can add something to the shoes which wouldn't be permanent. A little bow near the clasp that I could co ordinate with what I'm wearing.

Would have to be clip on not stick on especially with the suede ones.

Maybe you could find something in Accessorize? They do all sorts of clip on flowers.

These are what I call ugly

But I don't like high wedges anyway.

I have some low wedged about 1/2 inch sandals.

Dav either ended up wearing trainers in the day because the path to the chapel well wasn't really a path and had a retro type pair of heels for nighttime. Never got to wear them though because I tripped on my dress and hurt my ankle Hmm sober.

I really think they look like dressing up shoes, and I have seen them worn in real life and they always look really weird. But, if you are really very kooky then you might get away with it.
