Note that I'm posting in S+B and not Feminism so no moralising please Grin.

I have breastfed two children for a total of 3 and a half years and my tits are, frankly, fucked. I've lost almost all the volume I once had and while they're not droopy or saggy (still point up - small mercies), they're pretty pitiful looking especially side on Sad. I am at my ideal weight but just look imbalanced (used to be an hourglass, now more a slightly manly cello).

I stopped feeding 6 months ago - am I right in thinking that they advise you to wait a year before considering surgery? My boobs recovered brilliantly after DC1 and I smugly assumed they'd do the same after DC2 but am now realising they haven't.

Also, do you have to pay the full amount (£4,500 - faints) up front no pun intended or can you get your new boobs on tick?

Any experience/advice would be most welcome Smile.

My surgeon recommended that I only considered it after maintaining 6 months at a stable weight (he didn't mention breastfeeding).

Do you want an implant for volume boost then? I had an uplift and reduction, I saved up and paid in one go, but the big companies do finance plans. Look on myrealself to compare different surgeon's results.

I paid £5300 back in 2007, with my local Nuffield Hospital. Can't comment on breast feeding, but my advice is to do your homework, remember that you get what you pay for, and don't be tempted by cheap Hungarian clinics! And yes, some hospitals let you pay monthly.
