You could wear any colour with navy, even black. Maybe some sparkly or metallic trousers would be good for a Christmas party.

YY to sparky or metallic black. Or just smart black jeans and done black jewellery to tie it all together.

I love navy, having a navy phase myself currently

I wouldn't go for navy and black together personally. Nice jeans a good idea.

Navy and black look dreadful together. It just looks like you didn't have enough of either to finish the outfit.

I'd just wear it with jeans and killer heels.

After years of fearing navy and black together, I now love it. I wear it constantly & it's opened up a world of wardrobe opportunities.

Vogue disagrees with you.

Navy and black together is very 'in' at the moment. I love the combination, it just makes life so much easier Grin

I don't give a fuck what Vogue says, and living in Paris, the French don't either.

I wear navy with grey.
So silver would look nice.
I would suggest bronze/tan/copper as well.

Silver trousers is a great idea - Isabel Marant have some great skinny trousers in silver.
