What have you ordered from here if anything?
I thought I would really like this but had a look tonight and was disappointed.

Yeah. What I run into all the time on sites like Finery and Winser London that are supposed to be for the more discerning "mature" lady is - polyester and viscose and modal, oh my! And by the way, that'll be £175. I don't get it. I have a limited clothes budget, I'm over 40, I appreciate nice fabric and cuts and classic styles, I don't mind spending money on something decent I expect to last - but I can't reconcile that with the shite I see in a lot of the supposed high end shops. Not just the cheap nasty fabric but garments with no lining and poor finishing and half-done stitching etc. It's tricky. Unfortunately their outlet flash sale is finished but I find Jaeger pretty good.

I bought a coated t shirt from there as I had a £15 voucher. I've not worn it yet, it's huge and the neck is unflattering although it looks nice on the hanger. I'm not rushing back

Interesting!
Anyone else?
It just all looks really shapeless and not even nice on the model. Pah.

I was quite happy with the sleeveless slinky dress I bought there in the summer. It looked plain in front, but has an interesting cross-back. Cost about 30 quid with 15% off I think. The material was a bit thin, and yes, a little shapeless but not overly so. I liked it and it came in a nice box with tissue and all.
That said, haven't seen anything from there I like for the new season.

I bought my wedding dress from Finery! It was this

but it looks a lot nicer and is a much brighter, pillar box red than on the website. I love it.

shins Try Jaeger on Brandalley, it's often on there, plus they have an extra 10% off today

I've bought a few things - a couple of really good plain cardigans and a top. I think the quality is good but everything comes up very big. They have frequent discounts, and currently 30% off.

Thanks for the responses. It does all look huge. Will have another look as I really want to like it!

I feel like I should be able to shop in the Finery, Cos and Other Stories as I like that sort of austere look. But in reality that stuff wears me. I am a size 8 and fairy tall and it looks like I am wearing someone else's clothes. Stuff from New Look, h&m and topshop all look much MUCH better on me if I am selective with what I buy.

Sooo, major problem with Finery and their returns/ refund process. It's pretty shockingly poor. I placed an expensive order over £200 as my first purchase and was gifted £15 worth of Finery notes (their version of gift vouchers kinda thing) REGARDLESS of how much I spent (ie I could have only spent £20 and used the £15 of vouchers)... Out of that major order I returned only one £25 item... and they had the nerve to give me £15 of that back in Finery notes, only £10 back on my card! I have questioned it and they say that's their policy even though it says nothing about that on the website T&Cs. Then, I just received my 2nd order with Finery (which I naively placed before this irritating debacle) and it has turned up without any returns label so in addition i'm having to ask them to send me one of those! I mean, the clothes I've kept are lovely but their policies and customer service so far is proving pathetic and it's very unlikely I'll order with them in the future. * ok update - they agreed to return me £15 on my credit card instead of the Finery notes but my second order, cost £110, I sent the whole thing back for a refund, and they have kindly sent me an email saying they're processing my refund..... for £55 + £55 = £95! Brilliant maths there!! Much as I love the clothes the customer service is so awful I won't be placing any more orders and I'll be discouraging all my friends from doing so too.

Poor experience from me too. I saw a really stylish friend of mine who works for a trendy Law Firm in the City had liked their Facebook page so I ordered a dress. The fabric and cut is horrible...completely disguises any bust and pulls over hips. Fabric is viscose and reminded me of C&A purchases circa 1985! As a PP said I got no returns label. Emailed customer service ,..turns out returns label email went into my Spam. Long story short I didn't get it returned in time. Customer Service very poor - refused to consider my suggestion of vouchers. So I have it still with tags...if anyone fancies a brand new version of this dress...?!?

I just looked at their website and want pretty much every dress on there. And they deliver to aus with free returns ...

Another one with a poor experience of customer service at Finery. Ordered over £100 worth of clothing, and did not realise that returns had to be made within 15 days. I thought it was 21/28 days. Genuine oversight on my part. They refused to take the items back, despite my contacting them, admitting my mistake etc. Point blank refusal, and they would not budge.
Would not buy anything from them again. They did not seem bothered in the slightest that they had lost a customer.
Had to sell the items on e bay, so I did get some of my money back.
