Sheepskin boots waterproof to keep chilblains away

One wet wintry morning school run and am overly air conditioned office means my poor toes and tops of one foot (!!!!) are now covered in the start of lovely chilblains.
This year I will keep my poor feet safe.
Any nice sheepskin boots that are waterproof, have decent grips and are even remotely attractive on wide feet?
Poor toes :(

Celtic and Co. in Cornwall. Have never tested the "waterproof" version, but the regular ones are great.

I second Celtic and Co. Absolutely fabulous.
DD got frost-nip on her toes when climbing Kilamanjaro and used to suffer dreadfully with chilblains . She has the house boots and the outdoor boots and doesn't get them at all now.
DS lives in cold flat and I bought him some slippers in February " Mum, they have changed my life ! " didn't expect to hear that from a multi tattooed and pierced tree hugging depressive Grin

I believe that those old-lady boots you used to see advertised in the back of Sunday supplements are the epitome of warm and waterproof.
Derry Boots we used to call them.

However I live in hope that practicality has moved with the times and will be watching this thread with interest!

Hoorau! Thanks for the replies.
Are the standard Celtic and Co boots up to rain at all? I'm in NI & we get a lot of rain. Or do I need to go for aqualamb?

Both DDs have standard and have sprayed them with protector spray but wouldn't wear them in the poring rain.

I think Aqualamb is the way to go. Having said that they fling their boots and slippers into the washing machine and they come out fine.

Thought you might like to see the gang's purchases last year ( DDs, a group of friends and their DC)
DH and I went in just after them and ordered another pair of boots and bought a pair of slippers and some fingerless gloves !
A goodly haul !

I love Cornwall and Celtic and co !

Off to Cornwall on Wednesday . Woohoo !

Ooo lovely! I will buy standard and spray them. Last thing, how are they if you are fat of ankle? I have plump calves and no ankle (only size 12-14 just unlucky).

In my experience that shouldn't be a problem. Guess where I am tonight ? The home of Celtic & Co . Might just pop in tomorrow Grin
