I've seen one or two but I've bottled out of asking the wearer where they're from. But the mid/low calf, low-heeled, suede boots in pale colours (cream, beige, stone) really look gorgeous with jeans. I'll see if I can find a picture..

What's a Mum boot?? I just bought some nice ones in M&S.. I struggle to find some nice fairly flat ones usually but these are really comfy.
They have some suede ones too.

I like these www.surfdome.com/h_by_hudson_boots_-h_by_hudson_revelin_boots-_black-221825

and think they are doing 20 per cent off at the moment.

A mum boot is a black leather ankle-length (usually) boot, with a clumpy block heel and a round toe. Worn with bootleg jeans and a baggy fleece.

I had some beige suede ones from Aldo but they only lasted one season because of the suede - I wouldn't buy again for winter

I swear by Sam Edelman Pettys, every colour/style imaginable, and with a bit of searching you can find a deal. V v comfy, look fantastic after a year's wear.
