I found it extra off-putting that on the tabs at the top of my screen, it came up with an abbreviated item title that did nothing for it: 'lady garden sweats'

Classy.

Isn't Topshop primarily aimed at pre teens and teenagers? [grim]

It does say on the TS link that it's for charity. Can't imagine it flooding out of the shops though.

Although, I think I'm more shocked that it's sold out in all sizes but a 4 Shock

I've seen the campaign on Instagram and think it's actually a really good idea. We all have different words for our bits and I think it's good to get a dialogue around that as we seem to have a fear of using the word 'vagina'. People also seem to struggle when they have daughters and don't really know how to refer to their nether regions! With boys it's easy! But no, I probably wouldn't wear the top!

I thought the campaign was about raising money (and awareness) for the treatment of gynaecological cancers mrslebon. Have I got that wrong?

Report
mrslebon · 04/09/2015 08:55

It is primarily but there is a dialogue around it as captured in the Evening Standard's sub-heading below:

As two-thirds of young women find saying the word ‘vagina’ embarrassing, a new campaign is calling for girls to talk openly about their bodies

Ah, I missed that. Thank you!

Shock

There is only 1 left in stock, in a size 4, so it has been popular.
