Looking for a nice brushed cotton check shirt

Anyone seen any good ones?
I'm thinking it might look quite crisp with white cami under and skinnies.
Had one years ago and it was so soft and flannel-y. Things aren't made out of flannel anymore, are they?!
Think I prefer the white/blue/red combo than the black/grey/green type colours.

There's loads of flannel shirts about this season, it's the 90's revival.
Which is great as it eas my era.

Try www.uniqlo.com/uk/store/list/basic/women/tops/flannelshirts

And I got a lovely cotton shirt from Sainsburys of all places the other day. It's not flannel though. But it is soft 100% cotton, and v v cheap, obvs.

Nice shirts there.

Might have to get a couple myself for the autumn season.

I got one in a charity shop last week. It's lovely but slightly too tight (enormous nork alert) so I've been wearing it emo-style, open over a cami. Those Uniqlo ones look great.

Uniqlo definitely. I have one from there, lovely and soft.

Ooh, Uniqlo, never thought of there.
I've only ever bought Orla Kiely scarves from there and they were super so might have to invest. £19.90 is a good price. Shame there's no stores around here and I'll have to pay for delivery.

Not your colours but I just bought this to wear with black skinny jeans and burgundy heeled boots.

They had other colours and a few longer and shorter checked ones too. All cotton.

That's the one I have, leccy. It's not really flannel though, more a heavyish cotton. But even nicer in RL.

Matalan had a few nice ones. I nearly bought one, only £12, but already had an armful. Few colours and soft material.

The Uniqlo ones are lovely, quite like the Sainsbury's one too. Have never bought any clothes from there before.

Uniqlo, no question. Great quality and nice range of colours.

DD has a (I think ) H&M one (L.O.G.G. on the label)
Black/White check but not flannelly

The Uniqlo shirts look great - does anyone have one? How do they size up? Cant decide if I'd need an XS or S (I'm size 8/10) and don't want to get it wrong with postage and returns.

I was a 12 post baby figure and had a medium which was fine but not huge. I would say a small but that wasn't this seasons range..

I bought one today from H and M men's...its very long, almost to knee ( and I'm six feet tall)
Blue/ black check..dd bought the red version.
I've gone for size small so its quite fitted.

Just revisiting this thread to say I found exactly what I was looking for, in Debenhams of all places.
It's all soft and flannelly and a more flattering fit than shown in the picture.
