Can any fake tan experts help?

I have been using St tropex in shower tan for the last 4-5 days. Love it! It is perfect for a healthy glow.
However, I have an event next Monday and I would like to have a deeper tan. I have St tropex bronzing mousse which I have used before and like the colour.
Usually, I would exfoliate and wait to get rid of all previous self tan before applying a new application, but there will not be time to get rid of this gradual tan from the in shower cream.
Can I apply the mousse over this one or do you think it would be disastrous? I'm just debating whether to do this or continue with the in shower one to see if it will give me a deeper colour by Monday!

I'm quite impressed that you got any colour from the shower stuff. I used it about five times, followed the instructions to the letter and nothing. No change whatsoever. Went back to my old faithful St Tropez mousse and got a lovely even colour.

Anyway. I would just try a little mousse over the top. It'll have faded a bit more by now.
