Where for nice casual summer dresses?

That aren't skater style and aren't made of polyester? This has been my holy grail for a few summers now and I have yet to find a dress I love.

Just want something the chuck on and wear, that isn't super short (I'm tall), doesn't have a belt/tie back and doesn't have a halter neck.

Any ideas?

Thanks - I'd forgotten about Dotty P's. That one won't work on me owing to the waist bit, but I quite like this www.dorothyperkins.com/en/dpuk/product/dresses-203543/day-dresses-1979038/tall-black-stripe-twist-dress-4385665?bi=1&ps=200

Hmmm - actually jsut had a look at Next, which normally I avoid like the plague, and they have some nice ones.

I have that DP twist one in two colours, am 5ft 10 and a bit and it's just above knee on me. V flattering and covers a full bra plus decent bust room

How does the sizing come up, good? I'm normally an 8 or 10 but have had some horrible moments in DPs when I've needed a 12.

h&m does good cheap dresses. Bravissimo/pepperberry has some lovely things this summer for the boobier.

I can recommend these in the Gap sale - there's a few different patterns available, they're easy to just chuck on but you can belt them for more shape, and they're that lovely thin, wafty cotton so feel cool to wear: www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=66915&vid=1&pid=000514192002

Pretty standard I would say, they have a stretch to them and you don't need to size up for bust room

I had similar criteria and just ordered this one in the sale -

Not received yet so don't know about fit!

Thanks everyone - I love the Joules one. Never had much luck with Me&em but will look again.

The Boden blackberry dress is gorgeous. Mine arrived this morning (got the yellow and grey one in the sale). It's lovely.
Also got a pepperberry coral coloured one (v Similar to the joules one) off eBay seller ty218 (it's ex paepperberry with tags cut out). Was £19.99 and is a great fit.

Manta ray at debenhams have loose fitting cotton dresses, although the patterns are quite bold, so not to everyone's taste.
