Rimmel instant tan stuff- anyone using?

The wash off one. I use it but my goodness, what a mess it makes of your palms. No matter how much i wash my hands after applying it, my palms still look like pale beetroot pink.

Anyone got any tips?

I just got a cheap mitt which is brilliant as tan goes on smoother and clean hands so win win!
