Outfit for fancy dinner thread

I seem to be always doing this but anyone care to share their outfit inspiration for a naice dinner out/summer drinks?

Weather will probably be v changeable. Currently thinking about evergreen Cos shift dress with gold leather Topshop sandals, but might be too chilly.

Other option would be leather-look leggings with long filmy T-shirt and pointy heels.

Or black Biba emroidered top with grey skinny jeans and pointy heels but not sure about that one.

Need to do the 'shop my wardrobe' thing a bit more I think.

What are y'all wearing? As high or low end as you please. Links and/or exhaustive styling detail extra welcome :)
