Can anyone recommend some nice smart jeans for going out, slim fit but not too skinny?

I only have a couple of pairs of jeans that I wear everyday. I'm going out for the evening at the weekend & would like a smarter pair. I like a high waist to keep my tummy in & I like a slim fit but not too skinny. I am 5'3" so on the shorter side.

Any recommendations please?

Gap Slim Straight (short length). The waist is a little higher than their Real Straight ones. V comfy and they come in a dark wash.

I was just going to recommend Gap as well, their straight legs work well for me and in a dark colour they can be dressed up nicely.

Uniqlo straight are similar to Gap. But tbh year after year I rely on Gap!
