best fake tan for someone rubbish at fake tan?

I'm really pale, like scarily white! I don't really tan, just go freckly and burnt, which I don't want bit I'd like a bit of colour especially on my legs.

I can't apply tan without going patchy and don't have a high budget. I don't want to waste money on rubbish ones!

Any tips or recommendations?

Try a gradual tan moisturiser, I use garnier summer body and one application is enough for a nice golden glow :)

I use a gradual tan moisturiser, too, currently Palmer's (check out Home Bargains and Savers for best buys!) I exfoliate thoroughly in the shower before washing, using granulated sugar mixed with olive or almond oil. Then I moisturise well, allow time for that to be absorbed, remoisturise heels, knees and elbows and then go in with the gradual tan. I follow-up with the same routine the next day, then top up around every 5 days. Exfoliating regularly helps with even tanning and tan build-up. Smile

I have tried lots of expensive ones but really the Garnier summer body (light one) is the easiest to apply and most natural.

I was just going to suggest the garnier one, that's what I have and it really does work nicely. No residue or bad smell at all, absorbs very quickly (most lotions don't on me).

I'm interested to see that there is a palmers one, I like their products though I generally prefer the unscented ones!
