I heartily recommend Gillian at Boosh on Cowgate. 0131 556 9993. She works in a hairdressing salon (side room) near my offices. It doesn't have a posh beauty salon feel, but after trying other places I always return here. I find my nails last longer without chipping and she does a great job tidying cuticles etc. I have shellac on at the moment which she applied- nearly 3 weeks and still looks fab.

I can tell you where not to use.....the nail bar in Harvey Nics. Just don't!
