One that i can wear that doubles as a moisturiser, light coverage and an SPF rolled into one. Just dont want to wear tons of make up in the heat and then a sunscreen!!!!!
Thanks!

I like the tinted sun sense one - I got some samples by emailing them as I couldn't find a tester anywhere.

la Roche posay also do one but I think it was greasier on my skin

I hear that Chanel have a new SPF50 CC cream but haven't seen/tried it. www.pixiwoo.com/2015/04/chanel-complete-correction-cc-cream.html

I have very sun sensitive skin and have never been let down by Clinique city block 25, or more recently Clarins BB cream which is also spf25.

Clarins is usually very good. Have loved their foundations :)

The clarins one - what colour. I see it has fair or medium. I have an olive skin tone [tans easily and fairly evenly] would medium be the best?

I use a skinceuticals spf50 which has a universal tint. It has a great review on Beautypedia. I then top up with my bobby brown stick.
I'm very pale but this works really well.

Soltan BB cream SPF50. I keep raving about it. It's about £5 and it's really good. Quite light coverage colourwise, but then you could always put a touch of foundation over it on any areas that need more coverage.

The Soltan dry touch face suncream SPF50 is my other new discovery. It is brilliant.

I have fairly sensitive skin that burns easily and I hate the feeling of SPF or makeup on my face - in the past I've used Clinique and Piz Buin but these are better, and way cheaper.

Oh the Soltan sounds good. Off to google it. Great price too. Anyone else with recommendations?

For a tinted moisturiser effect, I like the La Roche Posay antiHelios 50+.

Another vote for skinceuticals. Or La Roche Posay cc creme but SPF is only 30

I've tried the regular Soltan face sun cream and it is great. Doesn't break me out and smells nice in a non sun cream way. I though it was only SPF30 though? Maybe not as going by memory from last summer. I didn't realise they done a tinted one. I just hope the shade isn't too dark for me as this could solve my holiday daytime skin issues.

I have just, for the sake of experimentation, tipped the amount of mineral foundation powder I usually use for my face into my hand and mixed with an appropriately sized blob for the face of my regular sun cream. The mixture applied beautifully, with a semi matte finish. So this is what I'll be using this summer.

sounds good but i dont wear foundation daily. Infact i dont own any. I just use olays tinted moisturiser. It does have an spf but its only 15 so not good enough for abroad.

Capsium I thought I'd do this too - I love mineral foundation - but I spent a week on a tropical island this spring and in the humid, hot westher the sunscreen and mineral foundation became a patchy, chalky mess. My sunscreen had lots of zinc and titanium (physical UV barriers) and so did my foundation, and together they were pretty messy. It looked so bad that I had to emergency buy something new right away and that's how I discovered Asian BB creams. The best ones have high spf and they are properly sweatproof - Dr Jart Premium spf 45 saved my trip. My face looked good and I did not need other makeup. It is quite pricey but there are lots of other much less expensive alternatives, I now prefer Missha.

You can make a decent homemade BB cream by mixing sunscreen and your favorite liquid foundation, but there are a couple of caveats. First, some people get breakouts from sunscreen, so test one properly before your holiday. Second, some sunscreen ingedients react with each other and render each other inactive, so the homemade mix may not be totally chemically stable. Third, if you put a sheer layer on your skin, it may not be enough UV protection. I'm now putting on the recommended amout of Biore SPF 50 sunscreen and a minute or two afterwards a very sheer layer of BB cream. Works really well in the Mediterranean sunshine, no white cast and no greasiness, and stays put until late evening.

frugal - what bb cream do you use with biore spf 50?

I use Missha Perfect Cover in the ultra pale shade #13. Shades #21 (light) and #23 (slightly darker) would be better for most people.

Thanks :) That looks good. What a great price for the lightest shade!!! Such a shame that i am a pale olive and would suit the 23 more!!
