Bloggers were raving about Kevyn Aucoins sensual skin enhancer, so I bit the bullet and got it from cult beauty- I. Not near anywhere that stocks it so had to go by colour swatches. The colour was fine, but it just wasn't as fabulous as I expected for £36. I tried primer, no primer, brushes, fingers, moisturising with embryolisse, exfoliating, and it still clung to the couple of drier areas of my skin. The other one I'd been strongly considering was Face Atelier, apparently madonna and her dancers all wear it, it's also silicone based so you don't need a primer.

It arrived today, I cleansed, moisturised and put it on with my fingers. When I looked in the mirror I was blown away!- it's got the dewy look I wanted, didnt settle into pores, covered brilliantly with a tiny bit, and makes me look ten years younger. It's supposed to also be sweat and waterproof- this is why I wanted a good foundation, going on hols I'm two weeks ive been wearing it since 2pm, no settling into creases, looks as fresh as a daisy.

It's definitely well worth getting a sample of this one, ladies, it's the BEST I've ever tried. Au recourse Kevyn aucoin! I'm a bit gutted at spending all that, I used it as a blogger suggested, with a fresh cotton bud each time, so there's literally nothing out of it- can you sell used make up on ebay?

Yes you can sell used makeup on eBay. I have done it and with premium brands you get a good return on your money. Or would you be send back the unsuitable foundation?

Is it perfumed? I have mega sensitive skin which doesn't react well to perfume.

I got it from Cult Beauty, and it was cheaper than Kevyn Aucoin at £32. Kevyn aucoin was £36.50.

And free. Shipping too! Gloria I'm off to sniff it now.....it smells of absolutely nothing to me. It's also cruelty free. You have to shake it really well as its got silicone in which sinks to the bottom apparently. Also search google for swatches of it on people with similar colours to you ie " face atelier swatches on fair skin". I went with porcelain, the lightest, which is perfect but a tiny bit darker than Kevyn aucoins lightest. They also sell adjusters to make them lighter/ darker. Read the write up on cult beauty.

I think you can order samples too, but don't be swayed by me, read reviews and the info on cult beauty, I'm pale, with dry skin and some red bits.

This looks great. Just so hard to get the shade right! I'm a 53 in Bourjois - not sure if I would be porcelain or ivory in this?

I'm such a sheep I have ordered two samples of this from a site called coco beau. I used the Temptalia foundation matrix using my existing foundation (which I hate but matches my skin colour perfectly). I am waiting for a Korean BB cream cushion too but worth trying a few. I'm still searching for my hg foundation. Dior Star is close and right now using Mac studio fix which I'm not happy with. Coverage is good, NC15 perfect colour but by lunchtime it looks patchy and cakey.

Good you got samples I think you'll be Ivory. I sold Kevyn aucoin within five mins on ebay so all good!

Yes Ivory is one of the samples I've ordered but I'm trying out Wheat for the summer too. I normally never tan but I've bought some face self tan for holiday. Not going to go crazy so just a slightly darker sample

I need a new foundation. Usually use Chanel Aqualumiere but fancy a change. Have ordered 3 samples so hope one is a good shade for me. Thanks for the recommendation, OP

Tethersend it's fairly accurate. I tested it by putting in NC15 then foundations I've already used. I got matched with Ivory in Star and Bone in EL doublewear. Both foundations I was matched with in the flesh.

What's interested me about this foundation is you can buy stuff to lighten or darken it to an exact match. Just hope it works with my skin. As you know what's great for one is meh on another. Thinking of my friends Make up Forever foundation. Lovely on her but ordinary on me.

I've just ordered some from beauty bay here using the Temptalia make up matrix so hope it's fairly accurate - Ive ordered Ivory
