Have you got an everyday hat?

With a brim?

Because I would like one.

I currently have a very sophisticated technical hat (with pocket, vents and float) but it's a bit, mm, Indiana Jones lite.

Would like something to wear on dog walks/gardening/general outside stuff that puts my nose and ears in the shade but doesn't come with an attached mini pamphlet containing lists of the technology therein.

I have an older version of this, which has done its job well and still looks new. It also survives being crammed into bags and suitcases quite well.

Sainsbury's had a nice 70s cloche style straw hat for £8 or so the last time I was there - it was a bit big for me, but I really liked it.

By every day do you mean workhorse canvas style sun-hat?

I did, but recently replaced it with a Christie's Panama.

Spendy, but I love it, they also do some great canvas hats too.

I want one now.

I wear a hat of some sort practically all winter, but my ears could do with some shade from the sun, really. I'd need something vented, though. Can't be doing with an 'ot 'ead in me 'at.

I love the Walleroo sun hats which you can get from amazon. I always have to wear a sun hat as I live in a tropical country bang on the equator.

I've got a fedora/panama from h&m. It even came in small/medium/large.
Stayed on my head on holiday city break without me clutching it at the mearest waft of wind.

Wow. Lots of Walleroo hats.

Need something I can accidentally sit on and not break it.

I have a Wallaroo Josie fedora. You can sit on it, I squahed it in my suitcase (emergency buy in the tropics). I love it and other people seem to do too: always when I wear it I get a lot of attention from local men Wink
