The holy grail of tights?

Where are they? Black, opaque, don't ladder or bobble after only one wear. Have tried supermarkets, department stores, M&S - I wear then every day for work and I don't mind paying £ if I don't have to buy every week.

Wolford opaques are brilliant. I have several pairs, well washed and a couple of years old. They kept their shape and haven't got holes or gone bobbly.

M and s body sensor ones are great. Don't believe the temp monitoring thing but they don't ladder in the wash.

Yes wolford are great and worth the ££. I haven't had to buy a pair in a while (living in a warm climate) but I think the ones I usually get are called velvet deluxe. Would highly recommend them.

Another Wolford fan here. If you sign up to their website they tell you about discounts. Velvet Deluxe the best opaque style. Like the others here I have pairs I've owned for years and are still going strong.

Surprisingly, the best tights I've ever bought are from primark. They look better and have lasted longer than any more expensive pairs that I had bought previously.

Wolford, look after them and they will last for ages! And they keep, their shape and dont ladder easily

Wolford, definitely - but opaques only, they are virtually indestructible, the same cannot be same for finer denier - they do ladder and you will cry, especially if it's the first time you've worn them Smile

Falke tights are great, I've had pairs for years and washed them often, they're still going. Good colour choice too.
