I'm excitedly waiting for my delivery of retin-a and my Vit C kit from Active Formulas.

The stuff is called super 16 pro collagen super serum by Oskia, and a wrinkle smoothing bargain if £80 I cannot love this stuff as my wallet will not be able to buy it regularly - but if someone can tell me it's an investment that will save me buying make up long term then I'm in board!!!

If anyone is up for a skin care meet up in Selfridges with facial massages, lots of brands and tea followed by time spent in Sapce N K very much up for that!!

It's below and the bottle is a wrinkle smoothing, skin tingling £80 from Space NK - I cannot love this product, but if do one tells me that long term it will cancel out the cost of make up then I'm on board Grin

If there is a crowd looking to do a facial work out in Selfridges we could do a skin care meet up??

Am on holiday but still reading the thread every day, and have managed to stick to a routine of sorts while away. Even managed my first korean sheet mask this evening!

A new thread yay Grin
So my stuff arrived from paulas choice I got the 2% bha and a retinol serum. I put them both on yesterday was a tiny bit stingy but ok.
My face felt really dry and tight though even though the serum was for very dry skin (not sure why I got that one as my face is combination oily). I put them on in the morning and by the evening my face was quite flaky. I used the bha again in the evening and my face is a bit flaky today and I think it looks dehydrated.
Anyway my stuff came from SR Skincare and I used the vit c serum which stinks Grin but went on ok. A bit too early to say what it's done.
I'm probably putting too much on my face as I got a bit excited buying stuff and then chucked it all at my face but it should do something hopefully.
I have just noticed how much pigmentation I've got from the sun. .even though I don't go out in the sun...I keep thinking it's got worse but maybe I'm just noticing it now as I stare at my face a thousand times a day really close up whereas I didn't do that before Grin I use sun block.
Is vitamin c and retin/retinol the best way to get rid of it? Or should I be doing good peels too? I got a trial sachet of PC glycolic 10% would that help?

I also got the 5% salicylic from sr skincare not sure where to incorporate that into the Regime.

Has anyone used InstaNaturals vitamin c serum with retinol? It has 20% vitamin C and 2.5% retinol and hyaluronic acid too I think and lots of other stuff. Looks good just wondering if it actually is good.

Great, a new thread!

I've realised that as much as I don't want to spend any more I need to address my hydration levels. I think I'm going to have to get the Clinique moisture surge and some Cerave next week if my recent invoice gets paid. I've ordered som Korean face masks but who knows how long they'll take.

I had trouble tonight taking my make up off, normally I wear a cc cream but thought I'd re try some Estée Lauder double wear today and it took ages to get my skin clean. My usual Emma Hardy stuff wasn't up to the job and my face was very stingy when I put my serum on, perhaps I need to try something else if I wear proper foundation.

Undomestic 20% vitamin c is high I think, I'm planning to go the day route and the instructions say to start with 5% and work up to 20%.

Plum I have the Oskia super 16 serum. I use it in the morning (and LRP Redermic in the evening). I was seduced by all the hype, but imo it hasn't been worth it. It smells nice, but for the first few times I used it, it made my neck itchy and sensitised. That has reduced, but in the 2-3 months I've now used it, I haven't noticed a perceptible difference that I can attribute to this serum. I have much better results from alpha h serums, which are half the price. However after 2 months I'm still only 1/4 through the bottle, so it has lasted well, and hasn't broken me out. I won't repurchase - but of course that doesn't mean it won't work for you! And it might well be having anti ageing effects that are preventative, who knows..

MrsGuy do you mean it's too high to start off with? I did read that vit c can be irritating (think I read it on these threads) but I think I need that higher amount as I've got loads of sunspots I need to fade and if I start off low it'll take too long Smile
The SR Skincare vit c is 10% which is maybe ok for what i need it for and it's got the other ingredients, vit e and ferulic, that skinceuticals and timeless has got (they're quite high vit c) though I don't know the amounts so I can't say if it's doing the same job but for 4.50 or so I'm not complaining.
I'd been using the Una Brenda vit c serum, I have no idea what amount of vit c is in there and I didn't notice any difference in my sunspots but I really liked it felt nice on didn't dry my skin out or sting and gave a nice glow. But as much as I like it I need the big(ger) guns now.
