Thoughts on these? After some shoes for spring before we get into flip flops but when boots feel too wintery.
Want something with a heel as all my other summery shoes are flat

Love the first ones, hate the second pair.

Second ones are horrible.

I dont like either sorry! I have a real dislike of those particular heels too for some reason Confused

I really like the first. Not so keen on the second.

Would it make any difference if the second were in black? Thinking to wear with skinny jeans Instead of boots over spring

Amongst other things, the hidden platform on the second pair is a bit dated.

Second pair and very nana, like a trampy nana from the inbetweeners film, not good!

No, neither, sorry.

Sorry I don't like either pairs.

Admittedly Im not a Ckarks fan but really don't like either of those. The first are too fussy with ugly heel and the second really unattractive and frumpy. Sure you could do much better.

Love the first ones, second ones look awful on first viewing but they might work on the right person with the right outfit. Possibly.

Wow so much hatred for the shoes!!
Out of interest, would anyone who hates them like to link to any spring / summer shoes they do like? Ideally something with a heel that is practical to walk in (ie every day shoes rather than going out shoes)
Thanks

Actually I quite like both pairs, and find that sort of heel easier to walk in, than a 'skinny' heel. Spring footwear is difficult, in an ideal world I'd go from winter boots straight into flip flops/sandals.

word they are VERY high heels!

Sorry, I'm referring to the Dune options as being very high.

Report
Petal02 · 15/05/2015 09:14

Blimey word, they're ALL very high!

The platforms don't feel it though petal because the bottom of your foot is also lifted YSWIM. So the difference between sole and heel is not great (as it would be with a flat sole).

I bought these recently www.ninewest.co.uk/sandals/mid-low-heel/jelanie-26.html.
Now they are high !!!!!

Better height? www.lkbennett.com/Shoes/Sandals/Priya-Leather-Espadrille-Wedge/p/SSPRIYAGRAINEDLEATHERBrownTan

Quite spendy though for that type of sole (which I wouldn't wear on a wet day).

I bought the first pair today in black after seeing them on here. They are really nice. Heel is a good height and they are very comfortable too.
