Where can I get brilliant black skinny jeans from?

Need to fit a shortarse.
Nice and black and keep colour well.
Not go baggy.
Cost less than £60.
The M&S jeggings are now failing me. I still love the pale wash blue ones, but the black ones now fade within weeks and go baggy within a few hours of wear.

Please help! :)

I have a pair of black skinnies from M&S that I have found meet your criteria. They are from the Autograph range and I really like them.

I just looked at the label and have no idea if they are jeggings and therefore the ones that have failed you already.

Oh and I'm about 5'3 and bought the short ones for a 7/8ths look.

Thanks, Thursday.

Will have a look at the Autograph ones. Can I ask how often-ish you've washed them so far, and what the colour is like now?

Just seen these too, which I like the look of, although whoever styled them needs shooting.

Dying to know if anyone has any ideas for this. I bought the M&S black jeggings and they're now grey ffs. They look ridiculous they're so faded.

They were good when they first came out, but now rubbish. The pale ones are absolutely brilliant still though.

I got a great pair from Tesco. They never go baggy, are still black after several washes and they stay up.

I've just bought a pair of black super skinny high waisted jeans from New Look for £22.99 - haven't washed them yet but I'm already in love with them because they're awesome at squashing my mum tum in and super tight on my legs and bum. But bloody hell, I can't breathe after eating my roast in them Grin

Topshop Joni. Or the old Jamie, haven't tried the new ones.
The Dorothy Perkins one lose colour and are a poor fit on me (I am long "hipped") and go baggy.

Haven't tried new look or primark.

I am careful to wash only with other black clothes, and not too often, inside out etc.

I love the New Look ones too. Good colour and very skinny. I like Gap Always skiny or whatever they call them now. They last years.

I tried some on in DP but they were v thin and too long. I have some khaki TS Jamie ones but they are too big on the waist and slip down a lot. Will have a look in Gap and New Look.

Gap sizing is odd so order a few different sizes.

I find top shop jeans do not wear well, and the zips always fail me on new look ones Confused

I was going to say New Look, Dd wears them to school so they get washed lots. The ones she has have kept their colour well.

Just read reviews on Topshop site, and they say the colour fades really quickly.

Will investigate the Autograph ones.

DOrothy Perkins super skinny Bailey jeans from the petite section are great on my 28 inch long legs and hold their shape really well, good stretchy material and they are a tight fit. Not the thin jegging ones they do, they are crap

Hold on to your hats, Asda super fit skinnies in jet black are brilliant. Have had a pair for a year and they haven't bagged at all. They are quite faded but to be honest I have lived in them and they have been through the wash with stain remover and the like. Try a pair on and see what you reckon, you can't go wrong for £18!

Topshop, all different leg and and waist sizes. Loads of choices of styles and colours. About £40.

Just need to be sure to wash them alone the first couple of times as the colour runs!

In terms of fit for those of is not blessed with height, I say Topshop Jamie jeans. Mine have lost a little colour with washing but they're nowhere near grey.

Topshop do fade fast but they hold their shape brilliantly. No baggy knees!

I have a pair from the petite section at New Look which I love (I have them in black and indigo). They're about half the price of Topshop too.

One tip I heard (it is faffy but my friend who lives in black jeans swears by it) is to dye your black jeans with a machine dye when they start to fade. Apparently that will keep the colour better. My friend was given this advice by someone who works at Topshop, which made me a bit Hmm (as they obviously know their jeans are shit at holding colour!) but she reckons it works well.
