I need a small, inexpensive, tan handbag that's not too expensive

Where should I look?

It's been ages since I bought myself a bag, I usually ask for a nice (more expensive) one for either Christmas or my birthday.

What's your budget?

Really depends on your budget. TKMaxx or an outlet shopping centre can have real bargains.

Is there an occasion?

If "inexpensive" means around £100 (as opposed to megabucks on a Mulberry, for example) then Joules have a few.

Sorry, that would have helped! Erm, up to £100 ish. Obviously happy if less since I'm buying for myself but I do like a good handbag Grin

It's for a wedding, but ideally use-again-able Smile

I got a large tan handbag from Warehouse recently, it waslovely quality and only about £25. They would probably have some smaller ones. Also Accessorize have a good range.
If your budget is bigger I'd try Fossil or John Lewis.

I'm not sure if you'd consider it smart enough for a wedding but my day to day handbag at the moment is the Jigsaw Alicia. They do a few colours and I've got the tan. I like it so ,ugh I'm considering g the black. It's a good size but not large and everything is easily accessible in it

It's £150 I think so a little more than you wanted to pay but it's really nice

I got a Rownallan tan bag from TKMaxx for £40 (RRP £80) it's lovely. Maybe not smart enough for a wedding though.

Bought a gorgeous envelope clutch in tan from M Korrs outlet for 50 pounds. It's perfect for a wedding or a summer Eve out ....holidays etc.

For some reason I cannot do a link... I took a screenshot of a bag from Dune (available online) £69.

I'm not keen on the messenger style tbh & £150 is more than I want to spend myself.

I'll have a look in Accessories and TK Maxx and maybe have a trip down to the outlet too, sounds like I might find a gem there.

Thanks all Smile

What sort of style do you like?

Shoulder/crossbody etc.?

How about this?

tether my phone won't load your link Hmm

Erm, I normally buy big bags with a shoulder strap for carting essential junk around with me (usually kid's inhalers/meds etc) but I'm dropping a bag at the reception venue the day before so won't need to fit everything in this one.

Maybe still something with a shoulder strap though so both hands are free to take photo's.

My dad treated me to a Ted Baker bucket type bag last week but it's bright pink & the dress I'm planning to wear is quite delicate colour wise.

I was going to team it with tan shoes I already have.

Ooh I have a nice tan Coach bag from JL - small and smartish with a detachable strap so you can use it as a clutch or with the strap shoulder/cross body. Can't remember how much but not pricey.

I think it's my phone rather than your link tether, I'll try on the laptop later when dd1's not using it for Minecraft.

I'll take a look at JL online as well. Thank you Smile
