I know this thread has been done before, but I've not paid too much attention as not relevant to me at the time! But, I have 2 weddings coming up and now I need to know Grin

I've not been to a wedding for a few years, when I did I was quite overweight so played it safe with black shoes and accessories and awful dress choices. I've lost 1 1/2 stone with another stone to lose and this time I want to make the most of dressing up. I'm not sure yet what I will be wearing, but thinking something lace in a summery colour such as coral. This is my current favourite dress but will depend on my weight and availability of the dress nearer the time of course.

I've got some nude wedge heels which tbh have been obviously worn although still in good condition, and recently bought a pale pink bag Dune bag. Definately not matching colours. Then I found these Ted Baker shoes. And today I've found a bag which is exactly the same cream but a different texture Wallis bag

So, matching cream bag and shoes or non-matching worn and very comfy nude heels and pale pink bag? I do get a bit obsessive about stuff and am not very confident about how I look so this is concerning me Blush

TIA.

I prefer [[http://www.wallis.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=33058&storeId=12557&productId=18641733&langId=-1 these]] Wallis shoes to the Ted Baker ones.

Nice dress. Maybe pick out the silver on the shoes for bag?

Although i would go gold and dressier than your shoes with the kind of whity nude on the shoes i linked. Wallis have lots nice. Having trouble with links!

I love those shoes Margaritas but I've got old lady feet and can't wear heels anymore Sad

Forget jacket and wear a pashmina wrap.... they are versatile, look glam.

Now those shoes I like and could probably wear, thank you.
And a pashmina is a great idea, would look far better than a stuffy jacket.
I wish I had more imagination!
Thanks Flowers

The Wallis dress is gorgeous and very wedding-appropriate. I wouldn't get too hung about about bag and shoe matchage - a few years ago matching was a definite no but now either matching or non-matching is fine. The nude wedge heels sound good: always much to be said for comfy shoes on an occasion when you're bound to be spending a lot of time standing around, and wedges are good for summer weddings as they don't sink into grass! - but you need to take a long hard look at them and be absolutely sure that their condition won't let the rest of your fabulous outfit down.

Oh thank you Mother for the vote of confidence! The last 2 weddings I went to I got so wrong, can't look at the photos now even. Yes, the dress is lovely, so glad you agree. I'm going to get the shoes out of the loft (summer storage) next weekend to check them over. They are so comfy, I am a bit biased towards them just for that!
