I'm auburn naturally. Yesterday I stupidly decided to bleach my hair. I am now a curious mix of bright blonde, slightly darker blonde and fluorescent fucking orange!

How can I fix this? I have work tomorrow! Do I get a darker blonde dye?

I would not recommend another permanent hair dye. Can you get a semi permanent dye/ toner to go over the top?

I'll send DP to tesco when it opens. Do you know what sort of shade I will need?

Hairdresser job I think. Do you have any high street chains nearby who open on a Sunday? Headmasters, rush etc.

You need an ash blonde toner to calm down the orange. Have you coloured/bleached your hair previously? This usually happens when you have regrowth from previous dye

Bugger yes hairdressers if you can. If not then i'd think you'd need a dark red/brown to cover it all- it would need red in else would wash up green (I know from experience).
But call round the hairdressers first

Don't die your hair darker brown. I did something similar as a teenager and it went copper coloured when i tried to darken it. I was known as duracell!! Think you need to see a hairdresser who will probably use so,ething to strip the hair colour first. Hope you get it sorted.

I would get ash blonde like slimjim says. If you can find a hairdresser, that would be better. Good luck.

I wouldn't put an ash on it as it will still be multicoloured and not in a good way, neither would I put a darker on it.
Go to a salon and get it sorted... the problem is once it's not right muktiple attempts could make it worse unless you are lucky.

Phone in sick, get an appointment with the best hairdresser near you.
That's what I'd do anyway!

Ash blonde colour will get rid of the orange tones

Find a salon that's open. Seriously.

You need a toner to combat the orange and I would leave that to the experts especially as you have different colours now in your hair.

There should never be an issue darkening hair, it is only when you attempt to go lighter that this happens. Most people go orange so a toner is needed to combat the orange/yellow depending on how light you wanted to go and what you used to do it.

I am not a hairdresser but I have just watched a 3 hour video on hair colour, how it is made, what they put in it, how to dye hair and how to lighten hair.

Get yourself to Sally's an explain the situation. They should be able to give you a toner to put over it until you can get to a salon to fix it properly. I wouldn't go along the lines of a box dye as it might be harder to fix later on.

It's needs a toner. You can get a live xl toner mousse from boots. Don't try and dye it again yourself, this needs professional help. And don't ever try and go blonde from a dark colour at home. The only people who get away with that had fair hair to start with.

There are sally's everywhere. They used to be called Salon Services or there used to be salon services and sally's and they merged? I might have made that up. I live in a small town and there are two within a 20 minute drive. Get on their website for a store locator.
