Okay ladies my hair - with Roisin Murphy inspo?

This is my hair - it has a brown wash out rinse and very bleached ends. I really fancy this but with a baby DD2 and new job wondering how high maintenance it will be? I would go blonder too - been caramel before. Or should I keeps style and go lighter. Not sure brown suits me.

Your hair is healthy looking and shiney. I'd go for a restyle rather than that straw yellow colouring, which will be hard work in terms of regrowth (and expensive) and will ruin your hair.

I like the hairstyle you've chosen. I think some highlights not block colour as your hair is lovely and shiny.

I have been growing out my hair eliza and don't want to wreck it. Maybe I should have some layers (subtle ones) and have a lighter rinse when this washes out. Such a cool hairstyle though. But with nappies to change, full time work on the cards etc etc a high maintenance hairstyle is one of those dreams!

Yep, that's the way I'd go! Post when you've done it so we can see? Smile

I think the style you like would definitely look good on you. You have the right face shape and a bit of a rock chick look about you (thats a compliment - youre gorgeous and your hair is great!).

But I'd check with a stylist what the maintenance is going to be on that new cut - how often will you need to get it cut and coloured, how much styling required etc? Dyed Blonde hair can be a bugger to keep looking good.

Longer hair is generally easier with young DC, as you can stick it up on desperate days Grin. And if you decide to stay with your current look and just add some highlights, I think that would look very nice, too.

Thank you Aggy! I have decided against it for now. Popped onto my hairdresser who persuaded me to keep growing out the bleached bits and have something edgy done when I've got virgin hair again. She warned that I would need stuff done every month and to be honest that's not really me! I will save the pic on my 'to do/wish' list x
