Eyebrows - filling them in

Does anyone do this? Someone at work showed me a wax/powder combo thingy where she puts wax (looks like lipbalm) on her brows, then dabs on powder. Her brows look great.

There are several kits that do this. There's another, recent, thread about them.

It has occurred to me that you could probably use chapstick/lipbalm and eyeshadow in the same way. Probably a great use for the bit of chapstick left in the very bottom of the tube.

I just use long-lasting eyeshadow, stays put the whole day even without any wax.

Fabulassie I did a quick search for any threads but wasn't successful. Will take another look, thanks.

I'm in a dilemma over my eyebrows which are a bit thinner than I'd like them to be. Have been toying with an HD Brows appointment at my local salon but I don't want the heavy tattooed look (a la Coleen Rooney).

youtube the palettes, hd do a palette too - it'll show you how to use them properly and lightly.

I found a pencil gave too harsh of a line whereas the powder is much more subtle.

I've got a Benefit Brow Zing kit for my brows.

I'm pale and have the fairest one they do and it's still abut dark, but maybe that's just me.

It comes in a little compact with a tinted wax and fibre palette, mirror, tweezers, shaping brush and rounder brush for the fibre.

It does occur to me that you could do the same job with a chap stick and eye shadow.

It's not too bad though.

I've been using dark brown eyeshadow and a small brush to fill mine in. Don't like the heavy look but it does seem to make me look a bit more groomed!

I use the anastasia brow wiz pencil but the Clinique pencil is equally as good and more readily available

I don't like pencils. I currently have a Barry M powder set. It is brilliant. You can build it up too, so you could see if you really wanted the HD look by trying it out.

I've got the Benefit Gimme Brow (it's like a tiny mascara) but it is a faff to get it on neatly.

What about tinting? Lots of home dye kits in Boots?

(I have "half brows" that stop abruptly, nothing for the Gimme Brow to cling to . My brow enhancer is ybf (Your Best Friend) eye crayon from QVC. Stacey Scheifellin .)

I use clear mascara and a Revlon eyebrow pencil in 'hazel'- I'm a redhead and, although I'm not after the heavy brow look, some brow is preferable to none.

I have used these items for years and they're perfect for me. And cheap as actual chips too.

I use a cheapie one which works real well. ELF Studio. It has a wax and a powder in one kit. I like thick eyebrows, makes one look younger. :)
