Boots N7 foundation

Need to invest in a reasonably priced foundation and want opinions on boots's number 7. Do they do a colour match these days? Would anyone recommend?
I don't want to spend a complete fortune but want something decent. I currently swap between using a BB cream and just using a powder for minimal coverage. I use a N7 blusher/bronzer for colour in my cheeks.

I like the colour I ended up with but testers pots and go back if you are not happy. I have a colour match done three times and each time cam up with a different colour.

I use it and really like it. If you go to the counter, the assistants are very helpful and will colour match for you.

I use No7 Stay Perfect and really like it - great coverage, and it lasts.

I got their Lift & Luminate last week having seen it recommended on another thread. So far, I like it. Light, easy to apply and I do look a bit healthier/brighter. I thought the colour match was pretty good. In the first (small) shop I went into, they would only rub a small amount on my hand which didn't really help me make a decision so I went to a bigger branch the next day and applied it to my face.
Last week, they were giving out £3 off No7 vouchers with every purchase so I paid separately for the other bits I needed to buy and then used the voucher on the foundation. It was also on 3 for 2.

As Mostly said, if you go to the bigger shops, they'll give you a tester pot. Mine lasted about 4 days so it meant you could really try before you buy.

Yes I blend the Matte and Stay Perfect on me. I also sometimes blend the Matte with a Loreal 5 in 1 BB magic foundation. Together I get coverage but also a bit of illumination.

I have used and liked the lift and luminate one. Have been colour tested twice. Same result and was happy with the match.

I've used the colour match service and was recommended the Stay Perfect foundation. Very happy with both, got the natural 'me but better' look I've been trying to achieve for years!

Used the colour match, got Stay Perfect in a shade that worked, happiness all round.

I've seen people on here who didn't rate the matching service though so def get a sampler before you buy.

Yes it will be the wrong shade if you have a tan.

I don't wear foundation in the summer, if you've got a tan you don't need to do you?
