Padded knickers anyone??

I have an event to go to.
Planning on wearing a body on dress. I am a size 10 with v large breasts but my bum is shapeless low and flat.
Has anyone tried the padded knickers meant to give a gym svelte silhouette?
Hoping might balance me out a bit but fearful I may look like I am wearing a nappy...

A friend of mine bought a pair on the Internet a few years ago. It looked good with the bodycon, she did say it felt strange though so I don't think she has worn them since.

To be honest it's something I wouldn't consider if clothing doesn't suit my natural shape I wear/buy something that flatters.
