how to style the Hush harem trousers

I made it all the way to mid March without buying any new clothes in 2015 but these I couldn't resist, but what tops to wear?

I don't want a "sporty" look but can't wear anything too fitted on top as I'm a bit wobbly around the tummy and have a generous bosom Smile. I also can't do white tops due to my colouring so grey / silver ?

Anyone see anything that might suit ? and preferable something that won't break the bank as this is supposed to be Frugal 15 for me !

Watching as I have these too!
I have been wearing with a cowl neck Jersey top (Baukjen) or a boxy type jumper.

Hmm the cowl necks don't suit me very well. I do have a boxy short sleeved jumper thing that would look nice only it's the same colour. Thanks.

Funnily enough these just arrived for me today too. That was after I said I wouldn't buy anything else from Hush!
Watching with interest as I'm not sure what to wear on top either.Confused

I have some grey ones from last year. I think something simple, neat and fitted works best - a long sleeved tee with a boxy / slouchy cardigan / jacket over. A too big top layer = too much material going on (imo).

I love that Zara top but the colours are wrong for me (I've got the navy trousers) As soon as I heard boxy I thought of Cos, not somewhere I normally shop but possibly this

I have these and it's more the footwear I struggle with. Any ideas? Top wise I go for Hush long length vest plus slouchy v neck sweater / tee.

I want these now after reading this thread. I've only recently discovered hush and am seriously addicted already.

I like the look of the harem's but they are ££££ s ...any cheaper ones?

Hettie - I've got harems from H&M, which are much cheaper. A black pair & a grey leopard print. They are lovely but do tend to go baggy at the knee - those of you who have the Hush ones - do they go baggy at the knees?

I have some of these, not hush though, but I've been wearing them with hush striped t shirts (long sleeve) in cobalt and orange, sorry can't do links! Also New Balance trainers in black, I think it looks ok, but then I'm currently on mat leave so I'm going for comfort!

No the hush ones don't go baggy at the knee which is why I now have 2 pairs. I wear with cashmere jumpers in winter or t-shirts in summer.

Footwear isn't too hard, uggs or boots in winter, any sandals or flip flops in summer

I don't think you need to be a teen to get the New Look top, it would go well with the harems, definitely get it.

Lol, the teen top only went up to age 9. But I found the same one in adult sizes AND in the sale so I've ordered it. I'm hoping these trouser will help me look a little Glamourous when we go camping later in the year !

I saw a lady coming out of the gym wearing a pair of harems, a slouchy t-shirt and a pair of very pointed pale pink pumps - it looked very cool IMHO

I bought a pair of the h and m harems a couple of months ago and they are too baggy at the knee to wear out of the house after about half an hour Sad . The Next ones are fab, and around £20. Smile
