I've used it before and am currently using sukin rose hip oil. The trilogy was better. I thought there would be no different, but there is.

I'm using the sukin shampoo also - not a fan of it, unfortunately. The rosehip moisturiser is ok.

What does it do?

I use it at night with no other product on top of it . I do use quite a generous amount ! I love it and it often give a bottle to girlfriends as birthday presents etc . A friend recovering from skin cancer on his forehead found that it was the only product that promoted healing .

It broke me out. I'm now using The Sanctuary Therapist's Secret Facial Oil which is a blend including rose hip oil and it's much nicer.

I love it. DS has a scar on his face from a fall and it's really helped that, too. Been using it for a month.

Do remember if you're using any oil product then you should deep cleanse your skin with a mask or similar once a week.

Yep I use it as my night time moisturiser - love love love. Just need 5 drops, skin has never been better. I do daily oil cleansing as well and totally swear by it

I have just started using it, but I like it a lot. I use one drop around each eye, and about three drops for the rest of the face and a bit of the neck. It always seems to be too little, but then it covers my face really well. I read that it should not be used on its own because too strong but mixed with carrier oils, and yet for the moment the way I use it feels just right.
I am having a c-s tomorrow, and plan to use it on the scar, too, as I have read good things about healing with it.

I love Trilogy Rosehip Oil, and have been using it for about 5 years. I've been impressed with every product of theirs that I've tried and am currently using their cream cleanser, eye cream and Rosepene night cream.

I use 3-4 drops of oil morning and night, over clean skin with moisturiser over top. I have normal-slightly dry skin.

None of them are miracle workers, but my skin seems to like them and they feel lovely to use.

It's good but makes a terrible mess of white pillow slips I've found if you use it as a night cream.

I like oils and often use them instead of creams (sensitive skin).
As a normal moisturiser, I'd say rosehip oil was a bit over-hyped and no more effective than say wheatgerm oil which is a fraction of the price. I know it's also meant to have healing properties though so that might make a difference.

After using 2 bottles of this over quite a few weeks I noticed no difference at all so I went back to my usual bedtime products and noticed a change after one week. It did nothing for me sadly.

Trilogy will be clapping their hands in glee now it's been reported that it's Kate Middleton's favourite product.

I bought it some months ago but am a bit meh. It's ok, but no miracle product - Decleor oils are much better.

Did absolutely nowt for me either. I have dry, dehydrated skin and it was a total waste of time. I have far better results just massaging in a bit of bog standard olive oil out of my kitchen cupboard

That's the bugger about these skincare discoveries - they don't work for everyone and the only way to find out is to try it!

I am looking to buy some garden toys for my two year old. We have a little tikes house, water table and trampoline. I have been looking at the little tikes double decker super slide climber. Does anyone have any thoughts on this item or can recommend something similar that is better?

Grin Rather random, Baffled! Or can this rosehip oil do absolutely everything? Grin

Ha ha. I actually looked at this chat because I've been using trilogy oil for the last month on my sun damaged chest - it's pretty good but certainly no miracle oil. Anyway I realised I wanted to ask a question about the garden toys and being my second ever post ever I didn't have a clue what I was doing! Apologies. While I'm being exposed as a complete novice.... I have no idea what most of the acronyms on here are! Is there a page which explains them?

Fushi and Akoma do very high quality organic versions at a much better price. I blend mine with jojoba to improve absorbtion and reduce the staining. Add a bit of rose otto too.

The trilogy firming body lotion is great though, as it has hylaronic acid in it.

Just to complicate things further... I absolutely love the Pai Rosehip oil (i think it costs £22): www.paiskincare.com/rosehip-bioregenerate-oil-22

I'm onto my second bottle now... I use it at night - massage it into my face after cleansing, and don't use anything else (i.e. don't add moisturiser). I wake up the next day with my skin looking plump and rejuvenated. Genuinely one of the few products I use that makes a visible difference. Admittedly I've not tried any other rose hip oils but why would i when this one works so well and isn't terribly priced (the bottle lasts for ages!)

Only downsides are a) the smell - very earthy, organic smell (I actually really like it, but I know not everyone does) b) the orange colour - it does transfer and I imagine if you used too much you could get it on your pillows (although clearly washes off easily...). These might be downsides for all rose hip oils though?

I use rosehip oil from naissance. It is a fraction of the price of some other rosehip oils and seems to make my skin more even looking.

Really? Why? I have never done this!

I've been using this for years. It makes a visible difference to the texture, and evenness of my complexion. I stopped using it for a while once simply because I'd run out and didn't get around to buying more, and it took a whole to realise why my skin looked so blotchy, dry and awful. I soon got another bottle! As soon as I started using it again the evenness and more hydrated appearance returned. I use it at night without any thing else (and same in the morning too at the moment as I've run out of my day cream...).

I've bought a bottle today, and I'm hoping for great things! I've noticed my skin is looking a bit 'meh' recently....kind of grey and blotchy (how very attractive!!) so I treated myself today and have already applied it twice!

I'm going to be disappointed, aren't I?!
