Bleach London hair dye

Has anyone used these on greying hair?

I have recently decided to stop using permanent/semi permanent hair dye and to let my greys come through (I have also had quite a short pixie cut too in an attempt to cut out most of the old hair colour) but I have always wanted to try some of the more outlandish hair colours but due to work I haven't been able to until now (SAHM now in my 40's as had DD late)

I've bought a few colours but now I'm too chicken to try them out Grin

They're not permanent are they? You could do a strand test of you can be bothered

TheCowThatLaughs · 28/02/2015 20:14

Sorry should have said no I haven't tried them

They are supposed to wash out in 2-10 washes but some reviews I've read suggest that some colours take quite a bit longer!

I fancy lilac but I'm not brave enough

I've bought 'I Saw Red', 'Bruised Violet', 'Out Of The Blue' and 'The Big Pink' Grin

I might just have to take the plunge and hope I don't look too stupid!

If you've always wanted to try it then there's only one way to find out...

Catswiththumbs · 28/02/2015 21:44

I used the violet one and it was crap, directions is much much better.

Catswiththumbs · 28/02/2015 21:47

Posted too soon Blush

I used it on bleached hair, not grey but it was really poor, patchy coverage (I know about bleached hair being more porous etc) and washed out quickly.
Directions can be mixed and diluted to create whatever colours you want

Ooh I've just googled Directions they have some lovely colours on there Grin I will give those a try after I've used these ones up I think

Thanks Catswiththumbs
