soft grey yay or nay?

for a handbag?
I need a new handbag and have seen a (quite) nice DKNY bag for £245. It's a slouchy hobo style, fits my shoulder and I could easily fit all my junk essential items in.

I basically can't make a decision - £245 seems a lot if the colour won't stand the test of time, but I don't tend to buy black bags.

I think it is called large Crosby? Saw it in John lewis, but it's not on their website. The other downside is there is a bit of dangly stuff attached to the strap, but think it could all come off quite easily..

any advice?

Do you love it?

If you love it, that's all that matters.

FWIW I have a soft grey bag and it goes with everything.

I really quite like it... It's not perfect but almost.

Will it give you an extra spring in your step when you wear it? If not I'd wait for the high street copy. For me to pay that much it would have to make me feel great on,a daily basis.

You are right - it is lovely, but not I'm not convinced I want to pay that much for something I don't really love...
Problem is, I still need a new day bag, one that fits the above description - slouchy and big enough but not huge and obviously nice!

I had a pale blue leather bag and it got horribly stained.
A light colour like that isn't suitable for everyday wear.
