I love this cardigan, even better if it was hooded, but alas, at that price, there's no chance!

It's handmade hence the price

A lot of etsy sellers are people who do these things as a hobby. If you calculated all your paid for work hours to the same that have gone into a handmade item you would expect more money.

I also wouldn't pay that money for such a thin cardigan but I have paid a lot of money for better quality handmade items.

A long shot but if you're anywhere near Greenwich market in London, there's a little shop (permanent shop rather than a market stall) that sells a lot of similar cardigans and jumpers.

Otherwise, search for lagenlook cardigans on eBay and there are a few similar ones.

Msfreud - thank you. There used to be a similarly sounding shop in Swansea but it's long gone now. Thanks for the suggestion - I love the occasional visit to London so will add Greenwich market next time.
