Black slim jeans that stay up

Finlaggan · 14/12/2014 15:12

I've got two pairs of black slim jeans one from monsoon which look great for about 5 mins then sag and go wrinkly. The other from Next again I spent a whole evening pulling them up.

I'm size 14 and would like a pair of straight slim black jeans not overly skinny to make me look like a parsnip that don't wrinkle or fall down.

Can anyone help??

try the Asos Ridley jeans. They're high waisted and have loads of stretch in them. I own a lot of skinny jeans and I find those ones really comfortable

Can you order NYDJ from John Lewis?

It sounds counter intuitive, but going up a size can often help.

Sainburys used to do really good black skinny jeans, but I haven't see the ones I mean (I think name was something like 'contour fit') for some time.

Uniqlo is always a reliable choice.

Not sure if they've got them in black this season, but Boden jeans are very good for the not falling down thing, I've got skinnies and straight leg ones from there and have been great. They've got a sale on now at the moment too.

I got some slim fit from jeans from tesco which are just great.

They are cheap, a great fit and they stay up!

uniqlo are the worse ime for sagging. I think because the are all so long

I have 2 pairs of Levi's Curved Jeans which I got from an outlet shop. They're SO COMFY, look lovely, are stretchy enough to deal with any pre-Christmas face-stuffing Blush and have a nice, v flattering, straight leg.

Skinnies - I like my Primark ones. They do straight legs too.

White Company - no sagging, amazingly comfy, and look fantastic (skinnyish, but not too tight at the ankles) .

I always have problems with getting jeans to stay up, but these are amazing: www.thewhitecompany.com/clothing/trousers-and-jeans/skinny-jeans--black/

uniqlo are good

I'm not a big fan of uniqlo. All their sizes come up insanely small, and everything is skinny fit. It's just variants of exactly how skin tight they are.

I just got a really lovely pair from Sainsburys - they say 'low rise' but come up to nearly my belly button, so presumably the normal rise ones are for tucking your boobs in, but they are really comfy and don't sag. There is a bit of diamante on the pockets but I normally wear long tops with them so decided I could live with that!

NYDJ and J Brand both do non-falling-down jeans. Haven't found Levis great lately, they don't necessarily fall down but go really baggy at the knees.

OOH. What's the James Jeans sizing like? I'm a 29 or 30 in Levis or J Brand, would a 30 be ok?

I have recently bought some extremely comfortable, non saggy black jeans from New Look.
Only downside is they attract any fluff within a 10 mile radius.

I got a pair of River Island tube trousers the other day and I'm loving them, high waist and just enough stretch to be comfy without falling off.

Topshop Joni's are brilliant and don't fall down.

I find levis big so would go up one size for James (28 in Levis and 29 to 30 in James depending how stretchy the fabric). I think 30 would be fine if that fits well in JBrand. That's what I've ordered so finger crossed!!

Ordered a 30 as well as am currently wearing J Brand 30s. Let's hope they fit...
