(Vaguely) stylish Christmas jumper?

Jellypudmum · 26/11/2014 20:31

I am a size 20 and am hoping to find a Christmas jumper that does not make me look like a charicature?
Needed for Christmas jumper day at work ( work with children so need to join in the fun)!
Ideally I'd like something long, not too chunky (a long sleeved t shirt would be even better), not too red and cheap!
Have trawled the Internet but am losing the will to live!
Any help please?

[[http://www.next.co.uk/g4082s1#674254g40 these] are cute. I tried them on in the shop but couldn't really justify the spends on a christmas jumper. Really tempted by the navy one still, though.

TK Maxx gets them in sometimes, I bought this last week and it is lovely Smile

There are a few others, just need to browse for them.

Swim your way through the polyester tents, to Evans - where I think this is quite festive but tasteful.

I don't think it is worth paying much for a christmas jumper/tshirt as it won't get much wear... I have been wondering about just getting a plain long-sleeved t-shirt (or using an old one) and adding an iron-on transfer/patch or two. Looks like you can get some nice ones online, or I expect fabric shops might have them? I like this one:

Could be a good way to get something a bit more subtle and stylish, but not too pricey?

I bought 2 from asda, both a really fine knit. My children have complained they're not cheesy enough, I think they're flattering for my ginormo-boobs.
Holly
Also had the bling Christmas pudding one. Can't wait to wear them Grin.

Could you wear a black sparkly jumper and Christmas scarf or pin accessories on (baubles etc)

That's what I did last year as I couldn't find anything and it looked like I was joining in and got wear out of the jumper after christmas
