DS desperately needs a wardrobe refresh but is totally uninterested in clothes. What are your boys of a similar age wearing? He usually wears t-shorts, long sleeved in winter but I fancy a change, even if he isn't fussed!

My 12 year old (nearly 13) DS won't wear anything other than skinny(ish) jeans, long sleeve t shirts, fleece or hoody and converse or type trainers. He/I buys nearly everything from Gap, Uniqlo or Primark. This is his school "uniform" too. It makes life very easy!

At home ds wears joggers and a hoody or a onesie. Otherwise it's skinny jeans or chinos and long sleeved t shirts and hoodies or sweatshirts.

my 8yrs old ( nearly 8 but tall so in 9-10 clothes) wouldnt wear skinny jeans :(…he is not fashion aware at all…unlike his mother and sister haha, he is a bigger version of his father..pair of cords ( straight leg!!!! normally Gap/Zara or Fat face) and a shirt again Gap, Zara…but he does like Polo long sleeves tops and he loves RL ones with contrasting colours, he would wear a polo t shirt and a jumper over it or a buttoned cardigan ( Timberland)..shoes he loves Campers ( i love Converse he wont wear them again!!) coat he has Barbour waxed coat with hood ( fleece one, No added sugar Parka but he also loves his Red Parka from Zara)…so even he couldnt care any less about fashion he looks presentable…as long as he doesnt want to wear a track suit for a family day out im happy ;) He does like Paul SMith tops, long seeved ones as they have funky designs like Space man etc, same with Zara ones.

Zara! Hadn't thought of Zara. He has reluctantly chosen an Angry Birds Onsie from Next ... yes, I know it's not daywear! He has discounted everything on Fat Face website and I have John Lewis on the screen for him next! He wears straight legged jeans, I preference to a tracksuit bottom but I'm finding it hard to find decent long sleeved t-shirts. Many of the graphic prints are either too loud or too young for him. Off to check out some of your suggestions now! Thanks.

My twin boys are also in a self-imposed uniform of skinny / straight jeans & long sleeve t-shirts outside school. If they're cold they'll put a hoodie on.

I buy them shirts occasionally, ones that they've chosen, but they never seem to wear them. Jumpers that I bought last Winter stayed in their drawers pretty much the whole season.

Their T shirts are from a mixture of places - Fat Face, Gap, Next (occasionally), M&S (ditto) & some plain & stripy ones from Boden.

oh your boys clothes sound lovely

my ds (11) would like to wear trackie bottoms and a blue Nike zippy THE WHOLE TIME!

on Sundays I bribe him into chinos and a polo shirt and if we're going out he'll wear jeans and a slightly nicer hoodie.

For Christmas he'd like a superdry hoodie and i find myself contemplating spending 50 QUID on a hoodie, what's that about?!!!

My 10yo ds wears long sleeve Ts, jeans or tracky bottoms, and very occasionally I can persuade him to wear a jumper on top. This week I bought him a super light body warmer from uniqlo. He loves it. It's a good extra layer under a lighter coat (bit of a theme here, he hates feeling too constrained under too many layers).

Some very wll dressed boys out there! This DS is great really as he prefers jeans to truckies - other DS is sooo difficult to get out of trackies and football shirts. Sounds like sticking with long sleeved t's is the way to go but I shall get him a couple of hoodies/sweatshirts for extra warmth.

Thanks!

11year old DS here who is a pain with clothes too. He would still be wearing shorts if I hadn't put them away for next summer/charity shop! Band t shirts and skinny black or grey jeans with H&M hoodies over the top very reluctantly when we go out. I think he might wear his coat if we get some snow!

DS1 is nearly 10 but tall and built like a rugby player. He lives in jeans...they are the elastic top ones from Next which look skinny but are comfy and hoodies. We have a Nike outlet here so he has several Nike hoodies and some Next ones.

He has some Nike high tops and some leather converse as well. He is an adult size 7 feet so shoes are expensive for him.

My DS was 13 last week ago a little older but it's totally uninterested in fashion Sad
He wears joggies, pj's, t-shirts and hoodies.
Refuses to wear long sleeves, jeans, outdoor jacket or any sort of proper shoes.
He will wear chino type trousers and a polo shirt if we're going out but that is as smart as he'll go.
All black trainers for school and astroturf trainers at all other times.
He is strangely very fussy about his underwear and likes bawbags, adidas and Calvin Klein trunks!

11 year old DS with little interest in clothes here too.
He wears slim jeans or chinos from Next. He has various long and short sleeve Ts from Animal, Next and Boden. When it's cold, he puts a hoody on. Again one from Next and one from Converse. He has a few shirts for going out. He likes checks or a quirky print. Again Next or Kin by John Lewis. Footwear is Converse or Nike high tops.

He needs a new winter coat. Any ideas? We're going to Cambridge on Saturday. Dread!

The teen choice is Superdry or nothing at all ime. If you're really lucky you might get away with a Peter Storm, or jackets from Sports Direct have been successful .
