Hi there - I'm sure I remember discussion about thermal tights/leggings but I can find it anywhere.

Any recommendations please?

i bought an 'expensive pair' of fleece lined jeggings like £30something down to £13 on groupon and they are really crap fitting. i went into lidl yesterday and got a pair of thermal tights in 2 sizes up (as i like comfort) and they are perfect, for £3! couldn't believe my luck. going to grab another couple next time im in.

I bought Lidls thermal tights and they're great. They also had some footless ones which I really like, so I can wear socks with them.

M&S does a range of thermal tights in different colours for about 10 a pair. I love the range of colours, but I don't find that they wear well on areas like the heels. Mind you, I wear high boots with them, so a few holes aren't a problem Smile

Boundary mills and the original factory shop sell 300 denier fleece lined thermal tights in black or burgundy £6. I have been living in mine I had to buy more.

In my experience you pay for what you get. I have always used Sub Zero thermals for the family and they keep you lovely and warm and last an eternity - i still have leggings that are 10 years old and still going strong! They are not the cheapest of products but they are made in the UK and they wash and dry really well. I have just bought another set for an upcoming trip but managed to grab a bargain as they currently have a 25% sale on their website subzerostore.co.uk - posted the voucher code this morning on the forum as well.

Thanks JFC, I've just bought DH some Christmas presents for his skiing holiday on your recommendation - I've gone for the clearance stuff as I don't think it'll matter if it's not perfect as its not going to be on show, and the price is excellent - and they allow the discount too!
