Long sleeved dress size 18/20

I am hoping to go for some job interviews soon. I hate wearing a suit so I was thinking maybe a nice dress instead. It must be at least 3/4 length sleeve, on, or just below the knee, and not too high at the front.

Must be available in size 18 or 20.

Any ideas, am open to more colourful or patterned dress rather than just one colour.

Where does Kirstie Alsopp shop?

TIA Grin

this is quite pricey but I have it and it is extremely flattering. I am a 14-16 but am fairly sure that it would suit larger women aswell.

I have the pink which is fairly 'in your face' but the teal or grey would look great for interviews.

madaboutthrows. Thanks for those, but I only like the last one (black patterned) the others are either too short in length or arm.

I might order that one, I've just started my diet and am very determined to lose a couple of stone so don't want to spend too much.

spooky. I love the teal one, I might order that too and try it on for comparison. Any idea how these are sized? I'm closer to an 18 in most shops.

Party I like that one too. I have seen it irl and don't like the material

I would say it comes up quite big as I am probably more towards a 16 and have broad shoulders but a 14 fits me perfectly.

I have the Boden one and I'm the same size as you. It's very very flattering. Go for the 18 as it comes up quite big.

I have no idea what a 'scuba' dress is, but I tried this on in a 16 and it was very flattering. It kind if skims and doesn't cling.

Tethers, I love the collectif one. Probably no more than £80 as I want it to be too big in a few months Grin.

I am changing direction from Social Housing Management into Estate Agency. Hoping for something that will give me some confidence BlushBlush.

Boden Highgate dress. Size down though so if, like me, you are a norky 18, a 16 will look great. I have the blue colourblock pattern and wear to work with navy cardi or jacket and navy or brown tights/boots.
Afraid I have never got on with M&S dresses - they are weirdly cut for my shape and make me look like a sack of spuds whereas Boden generally fit fine.
Boden discount codes here.

PS I also have the Linea dress Tethers linked too after she lured me to it on another thread Wink. It is great for days when I have to be ultra formal. Smile

I also have the Highgate dress and, yes it is also very flattering. I didn't link to it though as I find mine shows quite a lot of chest which may not be what you want for interviews Grin

However, I do get a lot of compliments when I wear it (I have the pink colourblock one)

Sorry, not keen on the LaRedout or phase eight ones.

I have just ordered the teal Marilyn dress.

spooky. My norks might just go in my favour Wink.

Just need navy tights and some lush shoes, what do you think? Black? Mid heel? can't walk in high heels

Party, have you looked at East? I really like their dresses (and they have great sales).
