Just wondered as I've spotted some recently whilst out and about and thought this would be the best place to ask.

I've been seeing them everywhere this season. Not for me though, I need actual waist definition

Seem to be, there are a few on the Gap website.

Not sure if I could pull one off these days, also suspect I'd be having flashbacks to my Confirmation dress (a floral drop-waist number, height of fashion in 1984).

I had one back in the 80s too. But it was very old fashioned looking back, with lace ribbon edging.

I spotted one in dark floral jersey, but it was on a Tesco stand and I'm not sure what the quality of supermarket clothes is like, or more importantly how I'd wear it or if I could pull it off at all.

I bought this one from Hush recently. It's nice, and a flattering shape on me. I don't have much waist so I can't wear anything too nipped in or I look like a man

Ooh I like that one. Very stylish

I'd worn it before I realised the label said dry clean only - would never have bought it if I'd noticed that on the website! But I shoved it in the machine on a handwash cycle and it seems to be none the worse for it.
